Nothing To Label
Walking through the bushy grass, I wonder what life would be like THE OTHERWISE, where humans are NOT HUMAN BEINGS and the counterparts lived our own filthy lives. Would we still feel PAIN, refutations, scorn, hatred and infamy?
As I walk through a much thicker part of the place, I went through a bed of roses, so full of vibrant colors, all luscious and sweet with much frailty to every detail. Yet behind those refinements are thorns READY TO CUT THROUGH you, cause you a lot of wrench and make you wish you were not to experience the mockery.
I wish I were DEAD, dead to people and dead to life. I wish I was not born to breath air, to drink water, eat food and to taste the treachery of life. I wish I was NOTHING at all.
I then find myself sitting beside the barbed bushes. One question still remains in my mind, will I to touch and come across a mix of wonder and twinge or will I to REMAIN IN MY PLACE, still and quite with no sign of sentiment in my system?
Like a stone, I feel the COLDNESS. But unlike a stone, I feel all distress.
Is Hitting Your Child The Best Form Of Discipline?
I had recently heard the news concerning a new bill in the Philippines about child hitting. It particularly proposed that no parent or guardian must hit or slap a child as a form of discipline.
The question is: is hitting the best form of child discipline?
I have heard stories about child hitting as one of the most effective Read more
Words We Live By
“It is nobler to find a man who talks less but thinks more rather than he who talks more but thinks less.”
Words are powerful that these can define a person. Anything coming out of our mouths state what is in our minds. No matter how vague or apparent we speak, any words uttered by ourselves will produce a lucid impact on the people hearing them.
These days, people speak what they want to speak. It is no longer a matter of thinking what these words can do but it is more on the freedom of stating what we want to say. These sounds interestingly Read more
Who to blame on this grave episode of carnage?
Will we set our sharp eyes to the alleged person committing the horrible crime or are we to reproach on people who, in their own selfish ways, made everything worst?
THE DISASTROUS EVENT
The world was disturbed by an unfortunate incident happening in the Philippines last Monday, August 23, 2010. A former policeman, known as Rolando Mendoza, took over a tourist bus early in the morning and took every passenger as hostages. Overall, there were 25 passengers in the bus, including the driver: 22 of which were Hong Kong citizens and 3 were Filipinos.
Two Heels
I was never fond of shoes. Usually, I wear slippers or plain sandals when going to college. For 4 years, wearing high-heeled shoes would be like fruits in season, rarely can you find them.
That’s me. Plain t-shirt, jeans, and a pair of slippers would be enough to get me to school. But then, college life has to end somehow. And I need to enter the corporate world. Though wearing high-heeled shoes is not new to me, still wearing high-heeled shoes everyday is like a culture shock.
For the first few days, my feet sore trying to walk with feet elevated 2 to 3 inches. But I did manage until I had not one, but two incident on how I broke the heels of my shoes on duty.
Migraine, Migraine go away!
People nowadays are very aggressive, potentially capable of anything and just can’t seem to stop working their minds off. But these people, though not directly obvious, are very vulnerable to sickness and fatigue. One commonly known illness to most people is what we call migraine.
A lot of factors contribute to migraine attacks. One good factor for such a bad health is a bad habit. Being fast and easy in everything people do is a common trend. We tend to become dependent on things that would make us go faster and make our works easier. Fast foods are more preferred than cooking good food (Viola, 3 minutes). Calling a cab is better than walking to the nearest destination (no sweat at all!). Trying just about everything to earn more income, know more people and climb higher (Live life to the fullest!). One may sometimes, or most of the times, be left behind if he slows himself down and sticks to what we say as conventional.

To rush or just to wait…
Wedding is a girl’s biggest dream. And rushing a dream is a big NO-NO. There’s this one person who tried to set up her wedding weeks before her supposed wedding date without a single commitment on her wedding necessities and ends up shouting at the top of her lungs. Reason: She just can’t seem to fit everything in one day. (And of course, people you would entrust to accomplish all your wedding needs and dilemma can’t also seem to fit you always in their schedule).
pike love
You can choose to leave me. You can abandon your duty. You can stay out of my league. For all I care, I don’t need your help.
You can do stupid stuffs. You can go out with someone or everyone else. You can do Bu****t things. For all I care, I don’t need your help.
I don’t need someone not understanding what I feel. Id rather be with myself alone and feel comforted with my own feelings. I’d prefer self-dependence than expect from people who can’t give a tiny hint of empathy of what I’ve gone through.
Though I may single-handedly do my obligation, it’s considerably pleasing than with accompaniment of pressure, hatred, anger and a sense of pride.

guilt trip
So much for overly self-reliance that I really missed Him. I felt fragmented as I go through without Him. Well, I treat Him as my friend. In fact, when I felt like dying is the only option for me, it’s like He talked me out of it and gave me hope. I don’t want to be considered exaggeratedly devout and be showy about it, but then, without Him, life will not be as secured as knowing home is just a mile away. Still, I’ve been a bad girl. Considering that I did things opposing his, I’m ashamed to even call His Name. How can I talk to Him if I know I did wrong? I am guilty. And I admit it. I’ve felt the consequence of it now in my life and I realized that I need Him to get back in a straight path. But how?
I forgot I know Him. I can just kneel now and talk to Him. Whew!

Do you really understand the word DISCRIMINATION?
DISCRIMINATION – it is an unfaltering word revolving in our society and it never gets old.
Discrimination is defined as the prejudicial treatment of an individual based solely on their membership (whether voluntary or involuntary) in a certain group or category. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discrimination)
It is a damaging judgment bestowed by an individual to a particular person, object or place that is based on personal ruling or criteria. We may actually know the actions of discrimination but we never seem to notice that we are indeed acting on one. To think wrongly on the person Read more
