Father God, Write my own Story
Write it as you want it to be
I’ve been composing the details of my life
Sketching the pictures with a sharp knife
Yet, the more I draw, the more pain I got

Father God, write the tale with your desires
Write as if you control the wires
That will wane my breath if these break
Since I know that what I will partake
Will lead me to where I can be my most

Like a wild child, I had driven my own time
Careless and falling in a wrong sublime
My heart is weak and I’m always wrong
Never knowing where I truly belong
Until I see truth in your loving arms

I want you God to lead me through
The right path where I can be with you
Forever I rejoice in the redemption you give
To my very soul I longed to receive
And be glad that I can be called your child
