Migraine, Migraine go away!
People nowadays are very aggressive, potentially capable of anything and just can’t seem to stop working their minds off. But these people, though not directly obvious, are very vulnerable to sickness and fatigue. One commonly known illness to most people is what we call migraine.
A lot of factors contribute to migraine attacks. One good factor for such a bad health is a bad habit. Being fast and easy in everything people do is a common trend. We tend to become dependent on things that would make us go faster and make our works easier. Fast foods are more preferred than cooking good food (Viola, 3 minutes). Calling a cab is better than walking to the nearest destination (no sweat at all!). Trying just about everything to earn more income, know more people and climb higher (Live life to the fullest!). One may sometimes, or most of the times, be left behind if he slows himself down and sticks to what we say as conventional.
But again behind those feeling of easy life and success is the extremely uncomfortable headache, the sudden feeling of nausea and the need to just lie down. That is Migraine Attack. The best way to prevent such attack to get back in track is a good habit.
Here are 3 very simple ways to prevent migraine attacks:
1. Eating healthy is equal to 10 added years in your life.
Nutritious foods may not be that delicious but it helps. Make some time to do groceries and cook a great meal at home. You may save some money for the extra cost they charge at the restaurant (plus the tip); you may also save yourself from added flab. Eating the right kind of food makes your body become stronger and healthier, more immune to common sickness and sudden attack of migraine. That way you can indeed live your life to the fullest without the stress.
2. A sound body makes a sound mind
Another way to avoid occasional migraine attacks is to sweat it all out. A person needs to let go of all the stresses and bad elements in the body and one way to do this is to exercise. Running a few miles or just walking with your dog every morning is a good way to exercise and maintain your healthy body. With your good body, your mind works faster and can cope up with all the pressure at work. No need to worry about attacks (just worry on how many invites you will receive with that fit body ).
3. Know ‘em to avoid ‘em
Knowing factors that would trigger migraine attacks is a good way to avoid them. We can maintain a healthy lifestyle to keep us from having those attacks but our surroundings may sometimes not lend a helping hand. Sudden heat or cold exposure may stress our heads and can lead to migraine attacks. Even loud, unbearable noise is a cause. Hormonal changes in our body also act as a trigger to migraines. Though all these factors cannot be eliminated, still we can find ways to avoid them, leaving ourselves with a clear head.
Work and pressure are all part of our lives, especially to working people. But if we try to keep our body in good condition, live a healthy lifestyle and know ways to prevent causes of common illnesses, we can be certain of longer and successful years in our lives. Remember prevention is a lot better than cure.
