Zombadings – Patayin Sa Shokot Si Remington Invades Iloilo On Aug. 31
Movie lovers of comedy, one-of-a-kind storyline, independent films and of course, a mix of gayness and fun will surely adore the new Filipino indie film entitled Zombadings – Patayin sa Shokot Si Remington.
Award-winning filmmakers Michiko Yamamoto (writer of Magnifico), Jade Castro (director of Endo) and Raymond Lee (writer of Anak, Milan, In My Life and producer of another indie film, Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros)offers to every Filipino an enjoyable and unique movie starring Martin Escudero as Remington, Kerbie Zamora, Lauren Young, Roderick Paulate, Eugene Domingo, John Regala, Janice de Belen, Angelina Kanapi, Leandro Baldemor and Daniel Fernando.

Here’s a synopsis of the film:
Remington is your typical “tambay” who is simply contended of his life sharing a bottle or two with his drinking buddies. When Hannah, a childhood friend, returns to their town in Lucban, Quezon, he finds himself trying to impress her by becoming neat and more responsible. However, the transformation of Remington is actually taking its path the unexpected way. Soon, he was drawn to the attention of his best friend, Jigs, started to wear baby tees, walking with swaying hips and imagining macho dancers. On the other side of the story, gay men are killed one at a time. A serial killer is at large and with the murder of a rich gay comes the foray of gay zombies around town.

What I loved about the movie is its natural comedic element that will leave you smiling and laughing even after watching the movie. Surely, it is the first gay zombie film I watched that gave me thrills in every scene. The plot is surprising and the characters are well fitted to their every role. The young stars are given much emphasis while the huge veteran stars acting as support proved their professionalism. No doubt anyone will find it worthy to watch and even a great recommendation to friends.
The claimed Asia’s first gay zombie comedy will be showing on August 31, 2011 in SM City Iloilo.
Support indie filmmakers driven by genuine talent and passion.
